'The A-Lister' and 'Anti-Diva' have pledged their futures to the company.

The Miz and Paige have both signed new long-term contracts with WWE.

Ryan Satin broke the news on last night's episode of WWE Backstage, dropping these major stories on only his second appearance as a correspondent.

The Miz has since tweeted about the situation, confirming that he had, indeed, signed a new "multi-year deal" with the promotion, vowing to "work harder than ever to continue to give you MUST SEE TV. IT WILL BE AWESOME!"

Paige hasn't addressed the news on social media yet.

Neither of these should come as a massive surprise. As noted in his tweet, Miz has been with the promotion for 15 years. He possesses a skillset that works perfectly in WWE's Sports Entertainment universe and is one of the company's ground-up development projects, having stepped into this universe from the world of reality television, eventually becoming one of WWE's most well-rounded performers.

Paige, meanwhile, has been slotted into a number of roles following her sad, sad in-ring retirement in 2018. Recent times have seen her work as SmackDown General Manager and The Kabuki Warriors' manager, though she is now thriving as a regular panellist on WWE Backstage.
