The Rock: Every Movie Ranked From Worst To Best

28. Why Did I Get Married Too? (2010)

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Pain & Gain
Lionsgate

You pretty much know what you're getting where Tyler Perry movies are concerned, though this sequel to the hit 2007 movie is an especially rough production, shot with all the flair of a TV movie, and written like Perry frantically cranked it out over a coke-fuelled weekend.

Johnson mercifully only has a cameo appearance in the movie as Daniel Franklin, a philanthropist who introduces himself to Janet Jackson's bereaved protagonist and asks her out on a date.

Seeing Johnson and Jackson share the screen is a neat little moment, and Jackson to her credit tries her hardest to prop the movie up, yet for all but the most die-hard Perry obsessives (apparently they exist), this one's a hard swing and a miss.
