The Rock: Face Or Heel?

1. Final Score

The Rock
WWE

Face:

4

Heel:

5

To illustrate just how incredible The Rock was as an all-round talent, he was the third-biggest drawing card in WWE history - and that can de debated to push him further up the list, but certainly not down - and he was, artistically, a better heel.

He was just so perfectly arrogant - so arrogant, in fact, that he was never too far away from the heel turn, even when he was the most popular drawing card in the world. This polymath brilliance, this unparalleled ability to manipulate an audience to his every whim, meant the race was close.

The Rock was such a superstar that fans almost resented him for being too good. At the character's incredible peak, they changed their minds every other minute.

There was only ever going to be one point in it.
