Steve Austin and the Undertaker defend the Tag Team titles they’ve conspired to win in an early experiment with the Can They Co-Exist trope. They defend successfully against the Rock and Owen Hart, but this is less a continuation of the Rock Vs. Austin rivalry, and more a device with which to stoke tension between the champions.

August 10, 1998 - They Can’t Co-Exist

Austin and the Rock collide, albeit in a four-way Tag Title match booked to accelerate the build for the big match at SummerSlam. Austin and ‘Taker lose.
