The Undertaker: 10 Awesome Backstage Stories

3. Scare A Man With Just A Stare

The Undertaker
WWE

Undertaker was originally managed by Bruce Prichard (Brother Love). For anyone unaware of Brother Love, imagine Paul Bearer in inverse colours with a smidgen of televangelist thrown in for good measure.

Having the Undertaker as a travelling companion came in handy, as his size, look and demeanour would be useful for dissuading any possible trouble. Brother Love learned how effective 'Taker's menacing stare could be in a most terrifying fashion. While travelling with the Undertaker in 1990, Prichard was driving a rental car to the next gig. This was in a time before Sat Nav was common, so the two became lost.

Stopping in a rough neighbourhood at night, Brother Love asked a man for directions. Unfortunately, the man he approached was more interested in robbing him.

Before anything became too hostile, the thief caught a glimpse of Undertaker staring at him from the car in full Undertaker face make-up. The thief ran off, presumably not wanting to take his chance with the large undead wizard staring at him.
