The Undertaker: 5 Awesome Matches & 5 That Sucked

1. The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar (WrestleMania XXX, 2014)

It's rare that an opponent will make it onto one of these lists on the good side and the bad side. While this match sucked, it largely suffered because Undertaker got a concussion several minutes into the match. Fans were excited for Brock Lesnar going up against The Undertaker with the Streak on the line. Once the match started, the fans didn't seem as interested as they had been in previous years during the Streak bout. After Taker's concussion, the match was kinda just there. Lesnar would hit an F5, Undertaker would hit a tombstone, but there was no connection to the moves or chemistry with the two wrestlers. In the end when Lesnar hit the third F5, it was all over for the Deadman. The streak was over. Even though the match was terrible, because it's where the Streak ended, as time goes on, all people will remember is the moment. The match becomes irrelevant because of the outcome. Even though it didn't live up to the hype, Undertaker deserves a hell of a lot of credit for putting on a match like that with a concussion. Luckily, we'd get the rematch at SummerSlam 18 months later to give us a classic match between the two.
