WWE has confirmed that The Undertaker will be appearing on RAW next Monday night, live from Nashville. This will be his first appearance on WWE tv in 2016. The booking comes hot on the heels of Shane McMahon's surprise return to WWE this past Monday night. WWE shocked the world by announcing that Shane will be facing The Undertaker at WrestleMania 32 in a Hell In A Cell match. The bout will be to determine the future of RAW, as Shane's character has vowed to take over RAW from his sister in an effort to improve the product. Vince McMahon agreed under the stipulation that Shane defeats The Undertaker at WrestleMania. If Shane is not successful, he will have to return all of the contractual agreements he made in the past with his father, which are stored in a "lock box." The booking of The Undertaker as he makes his return to WWE under this storyline will be interesting to say the least. Obviously it wouldn't make much sense for Undertaker to be sympathetic to Vince's cause, and it would seem like an impossibility that WWE would allow Shane to defeat the Deadman clean at WrestleMania. However, it seems likely that WWE might want to freshen things up and have Shane run the show following WrestleMania. How will they reach that conclusion without making The Undertaker look foolish? The entire booking of the angle is pretty unpredictable and has brought some much needed excitement to WWE as we head into WrestleMania season.
