Before WrestleMania 36 happened, The Undertaker stood tall on Raw and promised AJ Styles he'd bring the "Unholy Trinity" with him for their 'Boneyard Match'. Obviously, 'Taker showed up alone, so what exactly was this "Trinity" he spoke of?

The legend told all during a special Instagram Live interview with the owners of Nine Line Apparel (a clothing line 'Taker is linked to).

According to the WWE icon, the "Unholy Trinity" is an amalgamation of his classic 'Deadman' and 'American Bad Ass' characters, but also has a sprinkling of real-life Mark Calaway on top too. So, in other words, it's his own personal take on Mick Foley's 'Three Faces', albeit inside the same human body at the same time.

This gimmick has had countless twists and turns over the years, and this is just the latest.

Fans didn't actually see a full-blown return for the biker character at 'Mania. Instead, they witnessed a coming together of 'Taker's finest incarnations - when mixed with the guy behind the old supernatural and tough guy gimmicks, that created the "Unholy Trinity".

"It was the unification of all three entities into one person", he told Nine Line.
