The Undertaker Says "It's Hard" To Watch WWE
Undertaker cannot watch without "talking to the TV like they can hear me".
Whilst completing the media rounds ahead of his big Survivor Series sendoff this Sunday, The Undertaker recently spoke to USA Today. The broad-ranging interview encompassed both 'Taker's career and the personal life of Mark Calaway, the man behind the myth - something which would have seemed impossible just over a year ago.
Discussing his TV habits, Calaway admitted that though he does watch WWE, his professional responsibilities to his colleagues make it somewhat tough:
"I can [watch WWE] to a certain degree. But a lot of times I catch myself talking to the TV like they can hear me. It's hard to be just a straight fan, because I want everybody to succeed and to develop into their potential. So I’m kind of like, "Oh man, don't do it. It didn't make sense. Don't do that. Why would you do that?” You would actually laugh if there was a camera watching me watch wrestling. I have these conversations and it's pretty amusing, I'm sure."
When he's not watching Raw and SmackDown through his figures, what else does 'The Deadman' have on the box? The answer is somewhat predictable:
"Mostly sports. I love boxing, MMA, college football.
He said he was previously a fan of Dexter and Sons of Anarchy, joking "I need a new series" (good news for him is that the former returns next autumn). As for current TV, 'Taker "loves Yellowstone", but "probably not as much as I should."
And just how often does he tune in to WWE?
"I don't watch it as often because I put myself in, like, "Ahh, I should be there!"
