The Undertaker vs. Bray Wyatt - 10 Things To Expect For WrestleMania 31
10. The Undertaker Is A Different Animal
After losing to Lesnar at last year's Wrestlemania, it seemed like the end of an era for The Undertaker. WWE's longest-running character has been on the 'elder statesman' list for quite a few years now, but against Brock the guy looked like the years were finally catching up to him. Obviously, this doesn't quite fit in with the supernatural aura surrounding the character, so it seems highly plausible WWE will change tact somewhat when hyping his next 'Mania appearance. Down throughout the years, WWE as a company have always heralded the fact that you simply can't count Undertaker out - even when all looks lost, the character has long been someone fans can count on to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat, and as a consequence, WWE's announcing teams have weighed heavy on the fact that he's almost magical, better than human, and far from being a mere mortal. It seems this year will see a significant change to that trend. The Undertaker's loss to Brock Lesnar will likely shift the goalposts, so to speak, and the commentary team will instead focus on the fact that the icon is an altogether different prospect. Perhaps this will take the form of making him seem more dangerous, but some fans have a sneaking suspicion that WWE will focus on a weakened 'Taker, making Bray Wyatt seem like the younger, more hungry animal.
