The Undertaker's 17 WWE Survivor Series Matches - From Worst To Best

6. First Blood: Mr. Kennedy Vs. The Undertaker (2006)

This match was another example of WWE putting a young guy they are high on into a match with The Undertaker in order to elevate the younger wrestler. Kennedy was given a pretty significant push when he started because he had great skills on the mic and was also pretty damn solid in the ring. The First Blood stipulation is something that WWE won't do again as long as they are in the PG era. The idea behind it is pretty simple because the first guy that bleeds is declared the loser of the match. Sometimes they go long, but this one only went around ten minutes. They worked a pretty basic match with both guys trying to bust open the other guy using exposed turnbuckles. The finish wasn't clean because MVP went into the ring with a steel chair, ref Charles Robinson tried to grab him for it and then, with Robinson out on the floor, MVP nailed Undertaker in the head with the chair. Undertaker ended up bleeding and ref Charles Robinson awarded the win to Kennedy. Post-match, The Undertaker got his revenge by hitting him with a stiff chair shot to the head and then finishing him off with Tombstone. It was a big win for Kennedy and it wasn't the end of the feud, but it showed how willing Undertaker was in terms of putting over younger wrestlers.
