3. The Streak

Without The Streak, The Undertaker still would have enjoyed an incredibly fruitful multi-decade-long career and earned his spot on the Mount Rushmore of professional wrestling. With it, however, he set himself apart from everyone else and achieved a status of near-godliness at the Showcase of the Immortals.

The sheer notion that an already-unstoppable monster became that much more invincible on the biggest night of the WWE calendar was a thoroughly compelling one and it formed an almost-supernatural aura around 'Taker and, indeed, WrestleMania as hopeful challengers signed up to become the man to break The Streak.

The Streak was more important to WrestleMania than any championship - something that was aided by the quality of matches 'Taker and his respective opponents would pull off - and that says a lot about how much of a life of its own it took on. And it's such a shame that 21-0 never evolved into 27-0 ahead of his retirement.
