The WORST Moment From EVERY WWE SummerSlam

5. Eva Marie, Lilly & Zero Bliss! (2021)

Alexa Bliss vs. Eva Marie was a stain on SummerSlam 2021.

It was almost like WWE decided to throw it on back to the Divas division with their match, and that isn’t meant as a compliment. Poor Piper Niven as Doudrop was a rotten role too. Having her play second fiddle to Marie’s second stab at WWE life was rough, and Alexa’s Lilly doll fixation was permanently painful.

No, not even Doudrop turning on Eva post-match could save it. It was painfully clear that she would've done a better job than her "mentor" inside the ring with Bliss. At least fans would've been guaranteed some slick exchanges and worthwhile action had that been the switch-a-roo, but bosses were determined that going from 'All Red Everything' to 'All Pink Everything' would work for Marie.

Narrator's voice: It did not work. Eva's focus on Lilly dragged this bout through the mud, and leaning on that gimmick was always going to toil inside the cavernous Allegiant Stadium. Lord only knows what fans way up high in the nosebleed seats thought when Marie dangled a doll in front of Alexa and slapped it around the place.

Meanwhile, those camped out (who had paid a pretty penny, by the way) around ringside looked around awkwardly waiting on the segment to conclude. It was short at less than 4 minutes, but then Bliss vs. Eva shouldn't have been on the card at all.

Literally nobody tuned into SummerSlam for this match. Sorry, they just didn't. Damian Priest and Sheamus must've been thanking their lucky stars that they had to follow it.
