The WrestleMania 33 Awards!
5. Most Entertaining Spot: Stephanie Through A Table
Oh come on, who didn't love this? Stephanie - undoubtedly the company's number one heel (except when she's suddenly a babyface) - gets a lot of criticism for her egomania undermining the rest of the roster throughout the year, but to give her credit, come WrestleMania she usually gets her comeuppance.
This year's variation on Roman's spear was thankfully a little less violent (it makes one dreadfully uncomfortable being expected to cheer a man laying out a woman), but no less satisfying. Chekhov's tables dictated that as soon as the unstable bit of furniture was set up at ringside somebody was going to crash through it, but most would have suspected something a little more mundane. Instead, we got an inventive finish, and the perfect conclusion to Steph's arc which should see her written off TV for at least a few months.
Yeh, right.
Runner-up: Jeff Hardy's ladder jump.
See award number 9. A bit too buttock-clenchy to take top spot, but spectacular nonetheless.
