While the Young Bucks may have retained the AEW Tag Team Titles against the Don Callis Family's Kevin Knight and Kyle Fletcher at WrestleDream this past weekend, the Bucks were completely decimated by two other Callis Family men on last night's Dynamite.

There, Matt and Nick Jackson faced off against Mark Davis and Jake Doyle in a title eliminator match that didn't even last three minutes. From the get-go, Davis and Doyle took control of this one and put a beating on the Young Bucks around the ringside area, with Matt Jackson thrown into a barricade, and Nick Jackson powerbombed through the timekeeper's table. And once the action finally hit the ring, Davis hit Matt with three of his patented piledrivers, as Doyle grabbed a bearhug on Nick. That was the end of the match, as Davis pinned Matt Jackson, and Doyle put one foot on Nick Jackson to get the simultaneous three-count on the Bucks.

The story here was that the Young Bucks were coming into this match banged up from their WrestleDream defence against Kevin Knight and Kyle Fletcher, and they'd only just been cleared to compete. Either way, this victory for Mark Davis and Jake Doyle was one of the most dominant in AEW history, and put the two on course for a shot at the AEW Tag Team Titles at Full Gear on Saturday, November 14th. Likewise, all four of Davis, Doyle, and the Bucks are expected to be involved at Blood & Guts on November 4th.
