This Former WWE Star Used Total Divas To "Make Money"

Just because you're not cast for Total Divas doesn't mean you can't be on Total Divas...

Ex-WWE star Fred Rosser, once known as Darren Young, admitted during an interview with Wrestling Inc that he'd often try to hang around when the Total Divas cameras were backstage.

Why? Well, Young believed that producers from E! would show some of his footage if it was entertaining enough. So, he'd deliberately stroll up to Natalya (or other cast members involved) and strike up a conversation.

Darren also said that Nattie knew what he was trying to do, but she was a good sport about it.

Money was Young's main motivation here; he wanted one of those tasty paychecks in the mail from E!, and he ended up getting a few just for sniffing around when they were filming.

Rather hilariously, Natalya would involve Darren by bitching about what fabricated problems she was having with other women on the show. That turned him into something of an 'Agony Uncle' for his friend, and it ensured that he got some easy screen time and therefore a bit of cash.

What a worker.

For the record, Young was never officially part of Total Divas or asked to be on any episodes beforehand.
