Bruce Prichard is said to be the most powerful person in WWE not named "McMahon" at the moment.

This is according a new report from PWInsider's Mike Johnson, whose sources state that WWE's creative direction is controlled by Prichard and Vince McMahon, with Bruce's say considered "very much the gospel" for the WWE Chairman and CEO.

The report also notes that McMahon has taken a hands-on approach with Drew McIntyre and his new sword-based ring entrance, following on from the WWE Champion's recent claims that the sword belongs to Vince himself. Prichard's current WWE stint began in October 2019, when he assumed control of SmackDown. He took Raw on following Paul Heyman's dismissal as Executive Director this past June.
