One of the many names released by WWE on 15 April 2021, Levi Cooper, aka Tucker Knight, has detailed how he felt lied to on “multiple occasions” by Vince McMahon’s sports entertainment giant.

In an interview with WrestleTalk, Cooper explained how WWE lied to him several times about plans for Heavy Machinery and the tandem’s eventual split; that split coming when Tucker turned on Otis at the 2020 Hell in a Cell PPV.

Specifically, it was detailed in this chat how the former Tucker wasn’t told about the Heavy Machinery split until just a few hours before that HIAC event.

“I wasn’t booked to be on the show that day. And then I get a call at, like, 1 in the afternoon saying, ‘Hey, we need you to come to the arena’. I’m like, ‘Okay…’. And then I wasn’t even told until, I don’t even know, like, 3:30 or 4 what was gonna go down. And that plan changed a couple of times, and looking back on it - I don’t know this, but I’m very sure - I feel confident that the way that it happened was so that I wouldn’t ask a bunch of questions and so that I would kinda be frazzled into doing it, which is exactly what ended up happening.”

When asked about what the plans were for Otis and the Money in the Bank briefcase that Dozer had in his possession until Tucker screwed him at Hell in a Cell, Cooper added:

“Honestly, I didn’t really get any answers on that either. I think that Otis getting the briefcase was a real last-minute decision, I believe, I don’t know that either. The truth of the matter is, no I don’t really have any set answers, I didn’t get any. I feel like I was definitely lied to straight to my face on multiple occasions.”

As it stands, Levi Cooper's WWE non-compete clause means that the former Tucker will be able to wrestle elsewhere as of 15 July.
