This Top WWE Wrestler Ignores One Of Her Own Title Reigns

One of WWE's top female names doesn't even recognise her own achievements?!

Charlotte Flair NXT Title
WWE

Charlotte Flair referred to herself as "a 13-time champion" during her recent appearance on Steve Austin's 'Broken Skull Sessions' show.

Previously, fans had noticed that WWE refused to acknowledge at least one of Flair's title reigns on TV. Her own entrance graphic also once crowed about "12-time champ" Charlotte, which was similarly odd. Now, Flair herself is ignoring some of her biggest successes.

In reality, Charlotte has bagged 15 different singles belts in the company. She's a six-time Raw Women's, six-time SmackDown Women's, two-time NXT Women's and one-time Divas Champion. Of course, the Divas Title reign amalgamated with the brand new Women's Title at WrestleMania 32.

That belt turned into the Raw version.

It's so strange that both WWE and Flair refuse to acknowledge one of her reigns. Typically, it's the NXT Women's Title that falls by the wayside here - Charlotte held that in 2014-2015 and again in 2020, but both stints are rarely counted on her championship total.

Here, on Austin's show, Flair again fudged the numbers by calling herself a 13-time champ. Even if one dismisses the Divas belt, Charlotte has enjoyed 14 championship reigns.

Weird.
