Booker T said a quick 'thanks but no thanks' to the idea of joining the nWo back during his WCW days.

Kevin Nash has revealed, via his 'Kliq This' podcast, that Book had one very simple reason for why he didn't want to become New World Order in the 1990s: "F*ck no. You guys work too much!". That clashes with something Booker told listeners on his own 'Hall Of Fame' pod last year.

According to the ex-World Champ, joining the nWo didn't sound great because he'd be just one of a collective rather than standing on his own two feet - yes, Booker did work alongside his brother Stevie Ray as Harlem Heat, but it was better to be part of a duo than a wider faction with loads of members.

Rather definitively, Book added: "It was just something that I did not want to be a part of".

Nash thinks it had more to do with the nWo's schedule. Lower-tier members of the group were required to work extensively on WCW house shows and make numerous appearances throughout the night on Nitro, Thunder etc.
