This WWE Legend Wants A Singles Match With Sasha Banks
WrestleMania 38 might come too soon, but this WWE returnee isn't giving up hopes.
Melina adored the response WWE fans in St. Louis gave her at the 2022 Royal Rumble.
Now, the returning legend has set her sights on something else: Melina wants a one-on-one match with Sasha Banks, and she wants it as soon as possible. The cameo queen thanked Sasha in a touching Instagram post, then said she'd love for the pair to lock horns in singles action someday.
Sasha has yet to respond.
Melina said she'd "forever keep [the Rumble] in [her] heart" - that'll be the case whether WWE fancies lining up a one vs. one bout or not. The former three-time Women's and two-time Divas Champion will never forget how fans popped for her split-legged entrance, or how electric they were before the bell had even sounded.
"Can you imagine what we could do if we actually wrestled?!", she added.
Banks eliminated Melina within 53 seconds. That blink-and-you'll-miss-it appearance wasn't enough for the latter. Melina is holding out for another crack at WWE, and she thinks a match with Sasha makes perfect sense post-Rumble.
There's no word yet on what Banks is doing at WrestleMania 38. Could it happen there?
