This WWE Raw Star Worked A Dark Match Before SmackDown

Could a brand jump from Raw to SmackDown be on the cards for this WWE star?

Keith Lee worked one of two dark matches before Friday's episode of SmackDown aired live on FOX.

The Raw star pinned Austin Theory with his Spirit Bomb in match one. Later, Dakota Kai defeated Aaliyah. Both bouts could be considered soft tryouts for all four workers - Aaliyah and Theory have been dark match regulars lately, and Kai will surely trade NXT for Raw or SmackDown someday soon.

Big Keith is the most perplexing one of the group.

Lee has been on Raw recently, not SmackDown. Does this dark match effort suggest that he's bound for Friday nights imminently? Perhaps, although it's important to note that nothing is set in stone quite yet.

WWE don't make a habit of having wrestlers from Raw work dark matches on SmackDown though (or vice versa), so this is rather intriguing. Lee's WWE run has also been a bit topsy-turvy since last summer; he was smashing it on NXT, but a leap to Raw appeared to do nothing for him.

Keith has also promised to tell fans the full story about what's been going on behind the scenes with his company career.
