Well that was fast. Not long after rumors of TNA's move to Thursday nights began to make the rounds, the company has officially announced that they will indeed be moving very soon. Pop TV and Dixie Carter have decided that a battle with a live SmackDown is not in their best interest, and will begin airing Impact on Thursdays starting on July 21st at 8/7 c.The move takes place two days after the brand split draft SmackDown episode, which means they won't have to go head-to-head a single time. After the last, brief, Monday Night War experiment between Raw and Impact, that is probably a great decision. The move shouldn't have too much of an effect on TNA. While some fans may forget to watch the first few weeks, it's better to go this route than lose a sizable portion to the competition. This is another "new" era in TNA in terms of timeslot and perhaps content. With the crazy Hardy Boyz story being the talk of the industry at the moment, we may see more stories like that in the future. This could either work out well, or fail spectacularly. No matter what, it should be interesting to watch.

To make fans aware of the change in times, Pop TV has started a "Pack Your S**t" campaign. So, make sure to get your s**t together (if you feel like it), and follow them to their new home.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
