MAIN EVENT - Mr. Anderson Vs. James Storm

http://youtu.be/iaeS7CnBDqk It is now time for a main event that will be far too short due to the lengthy Gut Check deliberations, as the final match of the Best of Three Series for Lethal Lockdown sees Mr. Anderson take on James Storm. The winner's team will get the man advantage inside the steel structure. The two former World Champions lock up in the centre of the ring, and it is not long before the Green Bay A*****e is utilising a thumb to the eye to get an immediate advantage. Anderson's style has always been crude, but he carries himself effectively in the ring, and to keep the Cowboy at bay he keeps him held up in the corner, and works on the arm of his opponent. But, as soon as Storm is able to break free of the pressure applied to his arm by Anderson, the two trade a number of vicious right hands in the centre of the ring, before Storm is able to get a grip on the match for the first time with a Reverse Atomic Drop/Bulldog combo. A jumping neckbreaker from Storm has Anderson reeling on the ropes, and after skinning the cat, Storm is able to reverse an attempted swinging neckbreaker and connect with knees to the face of his opponent. As Storm looks to be preparing for the Last Call Superkick, he is distracted by the presence of the Aces & Eights approaching ringside, although their progress towards the ring is halted by the retaliation of Team TNA in their path. However, the distraction gives Anderson enough time to recover, and following a Mic Check to Storm, he picks up the victory and gives the Aces & Eights the advantage inside Lethal Lockdown. However, if you look at the history of Lethal Lockdown matches, that is the least advantageous advantage in wrestling today. WINNER: Mr. Anderson

Final "Confrontation" Before Lockdown

http://youtu.be/n0hcpPTjn7U Before the show draws to a close, both the Number One Contender Bully Ray (alongside his wife Brooke Hogan) and the World Champion Jeff Hardy make their way to the ring to air out any final thoughts prior to their championship encounter at Lockdown. Bully decides to inform everybody that Lockdown is on Sunday (good work there) and proceeds to announce that in the main event of possibly the biggest TNA PPV of all time will see Hardy and Bully doing what they do best inside a steel cage - make history. Bully then states that he is proud of Hardy for overcoming all of his personal demons to come back to the company and become World Champion. That may earn Hardy Bully's pride, but unfortunately that counts for nothing when you try and go on tour to the UK. Hardy then returns the favour to Bully, but lists off all the people who have beaten him down to try and win the World Championship, such as Austin Aries, Bobby Roode, Kurt Angle and Christopher Daniels, and questions whether Bully doing the same will be enough. But Bully responds by saying that the only way he is going to be proud of himself is if he beats Hardy for the title at Lockdown, and states that he is going to do it by pinfall to prove that he truly is worthy of calling himself the best. This brings Hulk Hogan to the entrance ramp, who proceeds to walk out on his crutches to sing the praises of both Hardy and Ray, saying that the winner of their match will lead the company into the brightest possible future. Both superstars show their respect to each other, but suddeny Bully is leading Brooke out of the ring, as the Aces & Eights surround the ringside area and begin an assault on the World Championship competitors. The arrival of Team TNA to the ring means that TNA ends it show in a mass brawl in the centre of the ring. http://youtu.be/85DjYHKlCbA So that is the final review before Lockdown, and I am certainly looking forward to reviewing my first TNA PPV this Sunday, especially one that is so steeped in history and looks to be a packed show. With all matches taking place inside a gruelling steel cage, the matches should be violent and spectacular, particularly the premier Lethal Lockdown Match between the vicious rivals of Team TNA and the Aces & Eights. Tune back to Whatculture on Monday to find out the results for yourself.
