After footage recently surfaced online of CM Punk looking absolutely jacked, TNA star Ryan Nemeth has taken to X to post about straight edge people who use performance-enhancing drugs... which, of course, many have taken as being a shot in the direction of a certain Straight Edge Superstar.

As Nemeth put it, "I love that straight edge guys are like NOTHING! IS! EVER! GOING! IN! MY! BODY! EVER! except PEDs which I will be putting in my body actually very often now because I do steroids, but of course that does not break my sacred vow. I am more disciplined than you :)"

Where CM Punk is concerned, the Second City Saint was spotted working out in a clip that appears to originate from Instagram user @connersinnan, and has since been circulated on X.

Whether or not Ryan Nemeth was indeed taking a shot at CM Punk with his comments, only Ryan Nemeth knows.

However, the two do have a history together dating back to their time in AEW, including Nemeth filing a lawsuit in February 2025 against CM Punk, Tony Khan, and AEW relating to alleged abuse, harassment, and threats Ryan experienced during his time working for Khan's company, and that he believes he was "silently fired" due to issues with Punk. That lawsuit was moved to private arbitration in April 2025.

For CM Punk, he's been entirely absent from WWE since the Raw after WrestleMania 42, with the Chicagoan losing the World Heavyweight Championship to Roman Reigns in the Night 2 main event of this year's Showcase of the Immortals.
