TNA Veteran James Storm Appears At WWE NXT Show In Nashville

The TNA star was sitting ringside for the NXT house show.

On Friday evening, WWE NXT held a house show in Nashville, Tennessee, the longtime hometown of TNA Wrestling. Surprisingly, TNA had a presence at the event, as "Cowboy" James Storm was sitting ringside. Storm has been a member of the TNA roster since the company's inception in 2002. His contract expired this year on June 30, but he has continued to appear for TNA on a per appearance deal. Does his showing-up at the NXT show in Nashville mean that a deal is in the works for Storm to sign a WWE contract? There is a possibility that is indeed the case, though it's also possible that Storm could have just purchased a ticket to the event like any other fan. He had tweeted about the event earlier this week, teasing that he might attend. https://twitter.com/JamesStormBrand/status/649399934106664960 According to reports on Twitter, Storm was hiding behind a speaker from curious fans later in the show who were approaching him for pictures. Multiple posts on social media, though, confirmed Storm was indeed present at the NXT event. Storm has spent virtually his entire career working with TNA Wrestling and other independent promotions. He did work briefly for WCW during the final year the company was in existence during 2000-2001.
