TNA's 10 Worst WWE Castoffs

1. Hulk Hogan

Well you know something brother? Hulk Hogan was a gigantic waste of time and money in TNA! The announcement of Hogan€™s signing in 2009 gave the company the most buzz it ever had. There was hope that he could finally take them to the next level. His first night in delivered Impact its highest rating ever. However, the follow up shows couldn€™t continue that momentum. Hogan didn€™t just take some of the spotlight away from the rest of the younger wrestlers, he took all of it! No one in the entire company had as much screen time as Hogan did, and he only €œwrestled€ two matches for the company. It was reported he was making about $30,000 per appearance. That was huge money for TNA, which is why they couldn€™t keep him. So what did TNA get out of Hogan during his entire run? Well, some of his cronies like The Nasty Boys and Bubba the Love Sponge landed jobs, absolutely zero stars were created, and some good old-fashioned nepotism took place like the hiring of his daughter Brooke. Oh yeah, and don't forget that the ratings actually decreased from where they were before he came in! Can TNA get a refund brother?

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
