Today's WWE Tapings Labelled A "Full Blown Clusterf**k"

"They should be embarrassed. Total clown show."

As we reported earlier, WWE has today been taping several episodes of upcoming television. But while tapings were back underway after cancellations and delays due to talent and employees awaiting test results, it appears that things haven’t exactly gone smoothly at the WWE Performance Center.

Courtesy of the ever-reliable @WrestleVotes, one on-site source has described today’s tapings as a “full blown clusterf**k.”

A lack of leadership? The company should be embarrassed? To be honest, we likely all could’ve guessed as much.

During these most testing of months for the entire planet, WWE has arrogantly powered ahead with continuing to put on a weekly in-ring product.

Alarmingly, WWE only performed actual testing on employees and talents after a Performance Center trainee in attendance at the June 9 tapings later tasted positive. And likewise, the company has refused to allow those in attendance as part of the current WWE ‘crowd’ to wear any form of mask – because, regardless of major health concerns, wearing a mask isn’t all that aesthetically pleasing.

In terms of today, WWE started the day by cancelling the planned taping of the June 26 SmackDown episode. Since then, both WWE Main Event and 205 Live have been recorded, with next Monday’s Raw and two episodes of NXT also on the table.

These tapings, of course, were originally due to take place on this Tuesday, but plans were changed after it became known that an unnamed developmental talent had received a positive test result.
