Another WWE TV show, another erratic day of script changes.

In a report from Ringside News, the script for tonight’s episode of SmackDown is said to be nowhere near being finalised. There was a loose script in place earlier today for this week’s offering of WWE’s blue brand, but the call is said to have been made to completely redo the plans for tonight’s show.

For those wondering, this is the second Friday in a row where WWE.com hasn’t served up an official preview of what audiences can expect from SmackDown. As it stands, it’s very much a ‘wait and see’ in terms of what to expect from this week’s Smackers.

This story adds that WWE producers were told to “stand by” as tonight’s start time looms large, while a creative team member was reportedly informed to ready themselves to offer feedback on a new script for tonight’s SmackDown.

As ever, it appears to be yet another hectic, muddled day for those behind the scenes in WWE – and one has to wonder what sort of end product we’ll get when SmackDown airs in just a matter of hours. In an update, Ringside News reports that the script for tonight’s SmackDown is still a long way from being completed.
