Burnout isn't a concern for AEW President Tony Khan.

As he continues to spin multiple different plates across multiple different companies in multiple different industries, AEW President Tony Khan doesn't feel like burnout will ever become a thing for him.

Speaking at the post-Full Gear media scrum over the weekend (via f4wonline), Khan was asked directly whether there is any risk of burnout or of him losing motivation.

As Tony enthused:

"No, I haven't taken a break from wrestling in a long, long time. I love it and I'm very much in the zone. I love coming to work every week. I've never missed a show, and I absolutely love it."

Khan would continue:

"Every day I come into work, I'm so grateful to be in the chair, and I think all the time about how fortunate I am. I'm also really glad that you all, for the most part, a lot of the wrestling fans, seem to like the work I'm doing and want me to be in the chair. Because I'm also cognisant that it's not always that way for people."

He'd then note how, a year on from AEW Full Gear 2024 being at the same Newark, New Jersey Prudential Center building as this year's Full Gear, he feels that the promotion is in a better place "in many, many ways" when compared to 12 months ago.

Discussing potential burnout for Tony Khan during the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer added that Khan simply "doesn't burn out" and that it's "pretty clear" that Tony is "always going to be the booker of AEW." As Meltzer stated, "If you like the product the way he presents it, it's good. If you want some other type of product, it's not going to be that product."

As well as his role as the owner and president of both AEW and ROH, Tony Khan is also Fulham FC's Vice-Chairman & Director of Football Operations, the Jacksonville Jaguars' Chief Football Strategy Officer, has his sports analytics company TruMedia Networks, and is a partner in talent management and advisory firm Activist Artists Management.
