In which Max Caster challenges AEW chief Tony Khan to a duel of the iron mic.
Max Caster has challenged AEW owner and founder Tony Khan to a rap battle in New York City.
Yes, really.
Caster tweeted the following on Monday (20 September), highlighting a clip from last week's AEW show in Newark, New Jersey that wasn't included on any company programming:-

The video features a disapproving Khan standing onstage while Caster delivers one of his trademark raps, touching on the Jacksonville Jaguars' lack of success, former New Jersey governor Chris Christie, and more. Now, the Acclaimed man seemingly wants to battle Khan when AEW hits Queens, New York for this Wednesday's Grand Slam tapings (22 September).
Tony is yet to respond to Caster.
Caster recently returned from a period away from AEW television enforced by Khan after a controversial rap was edited out of the 3 August episode of Dark. Featuring distasteful lines aimed at Simone Biles, the 2006 Duke lacrosse case, COVID-19 conspiracies, and more, it prompted Khan to announce he'd be taking over production of Dark, with Max sent to sensitivity training in the aftermath
With over 18,600 tickets sold at the time of writing, Grand Slam will become the highest-attended show in AEW history this week.
