Tony Khan Makes Cryptic Comments On Brodie Lee's AEW Status

Brodie Lee has been off AEW Dynamite for weeks. Here's what Tony Khan has to say...

Brodie Lee
AEW

Mr. Brodie Lee has been absent from All Elite Wrestling television for close to two months, having not appeared since dropping the TNT Championship to Cody Rhodes in their brutal 7 October Dog Collar Match - and company president Tony Khan is staying guarded when it comes to 'The Exalted One's' AEW status.

Speaking during yesterday's pre-Winter Is Coming media call, Khan couldn't offer a comment on Lee's lack of appearances since falling to Cody. He did state, however, that he expects to welcome Brodie back before long, calling him one of the promotion's top wrestlers.

Lee's AEW return date is still to be confirmed.

Mid-November brought a report that Lee's absence was due to him recovering from a potential ankle injury, though AEW never confirmed this. If that's the case, here's hoping he's on the road to recovery.

The Dark Order has kept moving forward without Lee's leadership. While they remain goldless, the likes of John Silver and Anna Jay have grown in stature over the past few months, implanting their own personalities onto the group. This gives Brodie plenty to work with when he does eventually make it back.
