AEW chief Tony Khan helped reveal this Sunday's Revolution 2021 pay-per-view opener during an appearance on AEW's Unrestricted podcast.

Khan previewed the show and then let Tony Schiavone announce that a tasty Tag-Team Title bout pitting The Young Bucks vs. Chris Jericho and MJF would kick things off at the weekend. That's one of the bigger matches on the card, so it's cool that fans will get to see it as soon as Revolution starts.

Opening the pay-per-view with some good tag-team wrasslin' is also a great idea.

Khan was naturally excited for the show, and encouraged fans to enjoy everything on offer (Unrestricted is an in-house pod, so that's not a shocker). He's particularly intrigued to see what The Bucks and Inner Circle will come up with to kickstart the event.

It's worth noting that any title change would mean the tag belts had switched hands for a third consecutive AEW pay-per-view. That probably gives the game away a little here, and means the Jackson boys will retain, but it'll still be a great match.

Both Tony Khan and Tony Schiavone think it's the perfect opener.
