Tony Khan To Make "Huge Announcement" On Tonight's AEW Dynamite
The AEW Chairman promises a major announcement on tonight's two-year Dynamite anniversary show.
Ahead of tonight's two-year anniversary edition of AEW Dynamite, Tony Khan has said he'll be making "a huge announcement" on this special episode of AEW's flagship show.
In an interview released today by PWInsider, Khan made the aforementioned comment, promised that Dynamite will feature some great wrestling, and added how there will be some other "fun announcements" made on this week's Wednesday night AEW outing.
There's no further word on just what this "huge announcement" could be, but obviously people will speculate that it could pertain to a further new addition or two to the AEW roster, of a stipulation for an upcoming big match, of new PPV details, or one of a whole bunch of other things.
It's worth noting that PWInsider did push Khan on who the joker entrant would be in tonight's Casino Ladder Match, although the AEW Chairman was obviously not giving up that information. Quickly changing the subject back to the major announcement that will be made on Dynamite, Khan stated how it's something that's been a long time coming.
As it stands, the following is confirmed for tonight's AEW Dynamite:
- TNT Champion Sammy Guevara vs. Bobby Fish
- Hikaru Shida vs. Serena Deeb
- Kenny Omega, Adam Cole & The Young Bucks vs. Bryan Danielson, Christian Cage, Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus
- Jon Moxley vs. PAC vs. Andrade El Idolo vs. Lance Archer vs. Orange Cassidy vs. Matt Hardy vs. Joker Entrant in a Casino Ladder Match to become the #1 contender for the AEW World Championship
