6. The Rock & Rousey Connection

After his Wrestlemania 31 victory over Sting, Triple H came out with his wife Stephanie McMahon to gloat about The Authority's recent successes and how they couldn't be stopped going forward. Cue the Great One, who answered the call to create another major Wrestlemania moment, with a little help from UFC fighter Ronda Rousey. The resulting altercation made headlines the world over, as Rock locked horns with his old enemy once again, with Rousey joining in by judo tossing HHH and threatening to break Stephanie's arm in the process. It lead to rumours that at Wrestlemania 32 we may see a re-match in an official capacity, although with HHH now set to defend the WWE World Heavyweight title at the event, and with Rousey losing popularity after losing her UFC Bantamweight title to Holly Holm, that now looks to be off the books. Still, it proved that every time Rock comes back and grabs the mic, people go crazy. The Rousey factor only added to the spectacle here, and once again it left fans clamouring for one more Rock match against an old opponent, which would no doubt still put bums on seats today if they find a way to make it happen.
