Malakai Black specifically requested to be exclusive to AEW's new Collision brand, the House of Black leader has revealed.

Black's comments came during an appearance on The Undisputed Podcast with Bobby Fish. Malakai stated that if he was appearing on Dynamite, Rampage, and Collision, things might not matter as much, so he asked to be tethered to Saturday nights specifically.

Said Malakai (h/t Figure Four Online/Wrestling Observer):-

"I requested to be strictly on Collision. Because I don't want people to get the pick, it's like, no, Saturday night I get to see The House of Black, that's what I wanted. Because if I give you the option for Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, you're going to go, 'It doesn't really matter.'"

Malakai and his House of Black stablemates have featured only on Collision since the brand's 17 June debut. The reigning AEW Trios Champions have opened a rivalry with Andrade El Idolo, who faced the House's Buddy Matthews and Brody King on Collision's first two episodes, seemingly building towards a future title fight.

House of Black have reigned as AEW Trios Champions since 5 March, when they dethroned Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks.
