With plentiful recent rumblings that the impending launch of AEW Collision will lead to an All Elite roster split, Darby Allin is one talent who's excited by this prospect.

Speaking to Shakiel Mahjouri of ET Canada (via WrestlingHeadlines.com) ahead of tonight's Double or Nothing PPV, Darby was asked about the possibility of a roster split for AEW.

As Allin explained:

"I'm excited, because if it's a hard brand split where there is a Dynamite and a Collision, it gives people more opportunity to be seen. With our roster, that's all you can ask for. It's a loaded roster with a lot of hungry people. Bring it on. It would be so fun to me."

Following months of speculation, AEW Collision was finally announced earlier this month. Premiering on Saturday 17 June, Collision will be a weekly two-hour offering, with Thunder Rosa, Samoa Joe, Andrade and Miro amongst the names believed to be leading the charge for this new show.

Not just are those aforementioned names expected to be a key part of Collision, mind, for this Saturday AEW show is also set to feature the returning CM Punk as a marquee attraction. Adding further fuel to that particular fire, this past Wednesday's AEW Dynamite saw Tony Khan formally announce Chicago's United Center as being the location for Collision's debut episode.

As for Darby Allin, he'll challenge for the AEW World Title at Double or Nothing later today, where he'll face off against Jungle Boy, Sammy Guevara and, of course, AEW World Champion MJF.
