Jon Moxley is working hurt.

Per Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the former AEW World Champion has been competing while dealing with a hamstring injury sustained while training. The 36-year-old has thus far worked dates for AEW and GCW while hurt, with the writeup noting that despite all this, Moxley "had the time of his life" while competing over WrestleMania 38 weekend.

Moxley fought two matches for GCW on 31 March, defeating AJ Gray and Biff Busick at Joey Janela's Spring Break 6 Part 1 and Josh Barnett's Bloodsport 8. The two shows took place on the same night.

There is currently no indication that Moxley will miss time as a result of the issue.

Nonetheless, Moxley has already had a busy year. Working 14 matches since leaving rehab and emerging happier and healthier in late January, he has compiled a sizeable body of work peaking, arguably, with his Revolution 2022 clash against current Blackpool Combat Club partner Bryan Danielson.

This week's Rampage tapings saw Mox work Best Friends affiliate Wheeler Yuta in a match that drew rave reviews from those in attendance. The show airs tonight.
