Adam Cole and Jeff Hardy have been pulled from what was originally intended to be a 10-man tag team match scheduled for this week's episode of AEW Dynamite (1 June).

The bout pitting Cole, The Young Bucks, and reDRagon against The Hardys, Christian Cage, Jungle Boy, and Luchasaurus was announced during Sunday's (29 May) Double Or Nothing 2022 pay-per-view. AEW is now advertising this as an eight-man tag sans Jeff and Adam.

No reason had been given for the change as of yet.

This was the only match announced for Dynamite at the time of writing. Taking place at The Forum in Los Angeles, Wednesday will be AEW's first ever show in California.

Cole and Hardy both wrestled at Double Or Nothing. The former faced Samoa Joe in the Owen Hart Cup men's finals, defeating the current ROH Television Champion ahead of being awarded a special championship belt and the tournament trophy alongside real-life partner Britt Baker, who won the women's competition. Hardy, meanwhile, teamed with brother Matt to face The Young Bucks, taking a number of big, impactful bumps in the process. At one stage, Jeff was neutralised for several minutes after taking what looked like a nasty landing following his boot coming loose while perched on the turnbuckles.

There is currently no indication that either man was injured at Double Or Nothing.
