Former NXT standout Bron Breakker has officially signed on the dotted line to become SmackDown's latest addition. He was unveiled and announced by beaming brand GM Nick Aldis on Friday's episode, and Nick might not be finished there.

One Jade Cargill was also shown conversing backstage with Aldis, and it's believed she'll be next to join SmackDown. Or, maybe WWE has a swerve in mind there that'll see Jade take her star power to Raw and Adam Pearce's watch instead.

Creative has kept things open-ended, at least, but it does look like Cargill will get a similar segment to Breakker's rather soon.

It was smart to announce them separately, if nothing else. However, it's totally unclear right now whether Bron will be heel or babyface on the main roster. It's also up for debate whether or not WWE will continue his well-received tag-team with Baron Corbin on Friday nights.

Perhaps Baron is staying put on the developmental brand for now.

It was only a matter of time before Breakker moved on from NXT regardless. The former NXT Champ achieved everything there was to achieve on Tuesdays, and badly needed a change of scenery. Now, he has it.
