Top Signing Target Appears At AEW Fyter Fest

Second generation star to sign with AEW?

Brian Pillman Jr

Brian Pillman Jr. was in the house for last night's AEW Fyter Fest special, with the cameras catching the 26-year-old in the crowd on several different occasions.

Pillman Jr. tweeted the following before the show:-

This came on the back of a Fightful Select report stating that the up-and-comer would be backstage at the show.

Pillman Jr. is currently contracted to Major League Wrestling, where he has enjoyed a considerable push, though there is a lot of uncertainty surrounding the promotion's deals as several "contracted" wrestlers have been signed away from them in the past. In addition to this, MLW allows some of their wrestlers work outside dates - which could explain Brian's appearance last night.

Could a spot in Cody's TNT Championship open challenge series be in his future? It's a possibility.

MLW is currently dormant as a result of the ongoing global health crisis. Pillman Jr. last wrestled for the group on 13 March, teaming with Hart Foundation partner Davey Boy Smith Jr. to defeat AAA's El Texano Jr. and Rey Escorpion.

Pillman Jr. already has one AEW match under his belt, competing in the Casino Battle Royal at Double or Nothing 2019.
