Total Bellas Renewed For Season 2
The Bellas go to Phoenix!
The E! Network announced Wednesday that Total Bellas - the Total Divas spinoff focusing on Brie and Nikki Bella and their respective beaus, Daniel Bryan and John Cena - has been renewed for a second season. The next eight episodes will debut sometime in 2017.
The first season of Total Bellas, which just finished airing, centered on Brie and Bryan moving into Cena and Nikki's Florida mansion in order to help with Nikki's recovery from neck surgery. The show also featured recurring appearances from the Bellas' brother, JJ, his wife, Lola, their mother, Kathy, and her husband, former Raw and Smackdown General Manager John Laurinaitis.
The second season, according to information from the E! Network, will see John and Nikki travel to Phoenix to spend time living in Brie and Bryan's house. The show will focus on WWE's first couple helping Brie through her pregnancy, while also touching on Bryan's new role as the General Manager of Smackdown.
Total Bellas debuted on October 5 to an audience of 630,000 viewers, with those numbers remaining relatively consistent throughout the six-episode run. By contrast, season five of Total Divas, which ended in April, closed with 620,000 viewers.
