Almost six months removed from the "cardiac event" that left him hospitalised and triggered a necessary hiatus from his WWE duties, speculation on Triple H's status with the company persists.

PWInsider's Mike Johnson reports that WWE's latest corporate departure has prompted internal discussion. Specifically, people within WWE are curious as to whether or not Triple H is ever coming back, with Lisette Pineda's departure as Manager of Global Talent Strategy and Development seen as a sign that at best, it'll be a while before Triple H is even close to being ready.

A WWE employee since January 2020, Pineda was considered Triple H's top executive assistant in WWE. Without him around, her role was described as "limited at best," which had led to some speculating that she was effectively working on borrowed time with Triple H away from the company due to his heart condition.

Johnson also notes that some people who used to be in constant contact with Triple H haven't heard from him in a while. There has been no indication that he is close to stepping back into his old roles.

The 52-year-old served as WWE's Executive Vice President of Global Talent Strategy and Development prior to September 2021, when he suffered the "cardiac event." Though he still possesses those titles, he has not returned to work.
