Triple H Vs Dean Ambrose Vs Brock Lesnar Nearly Happened At WWE Roadblock

Original WWE Roadblock plan revealed.

WWE were originally going to go with Triple H versus Dean Ambrose versus Brock Lesnar as Roadblock's main event. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the plan was to have Triple H pinning Ambrose in the triple threat. The idea right now, is to keep beating Ambrose down in the same style as Daniel Bryan. In theory, his popularity should keep on growing, as everyone loves an underdog. The payoff is that he eventually gets a huge win, which could come as soon as WrestleMania 32 with a victory over Brock Lesnar. WWE's reason for changing plans and going with a straight one on one as Roadblock's main event isn't known. They moved Lesnar over to a Bray Wyatt match. That was originally the plan for Lesnar at WrestleMania, so it at least pays off the story he started with Wyatt back in January. Needless to say, he'll defeat Wyatt. As for the main event, Triple H will defeat Ambrose. All the WrestleMania marketing is already produced with Hunter and Reigns as the feature stars, and Ambrose versus Lesnar remains the plan for April 3. Reigns is actually recovering from nasal surgery right now, and may not be back for a few more weeks, which is why Ambrose is filling in with the Hunter feud.
