Twitch Streamer Dr Disrespect At WWE SmackDown - Appears On WWE NOW

Twitch streamer and "back-to-back two-time Video Game Champion" Dr Disrespect appeared ahead of WWE SmackDown's debut on Fox, joining Cathy Kelley and Mike Rome during the "WWE Now" online Kickoff Show.

The star appeared behind the pair with a cryptic message before disappearing off camera just seconds later.

As seen in the video above, he announced himself then simply responded to Rome's confusion by noting that he was "looking for someone". Fans of Disrespect, rea raced to Twitter to speculate on the nature of his appearance, with many positing that he might be looking for fellow gaming community superstar Xavier Woods. The New Day man only featured briefly on both the Kickoff Show and SmackDown itself, flanking Kofi Kingston backstage and during his entrance ahead of his loss to Brock Lesnar.

Dr Disrespect (real name Herschel Beahm IV) has 3.61million followers on Twitch and 1.2million on Twitter, and was received as such by the shocked WWE hosts. The appearance wasn't referenced during the broadcast itself, but may feature when the company have more time to spare on future editions of the show, or across one of their numerous multimedia outlets.
