With speculation already rampant that Tyson Fury and Drew McIntyre will face off in a Battle of Britain bout at this September's WWE PPV from Cardiff, Wales, the Gypsy King has only furthered such talk following his win over Dillian Whyte last night.

For those who missed it, Fury retained the WBC Heavyweight Title and Ring Magazine Title via TKO after flooring White with a right uppercut in the sixth round. While the big talk post-fight was Fury discussing his plans to retire from the boxing ring, he also addressed the possibility of seeing him back in a wrestling ring.

Seemingly suggesting an appearance at this year's SummerSlam and then a match at the Cardiff premium live event, the 33-year-old said:

"Don't rule me out of fighting there [WWE]. You might see me at SummerSlam, too. I've got to speak to Vince and the boys, maybe make this happen. I know Drew McIntyre has been saying a lot of things about me. I'll knock him out, like I did his pal. I'd love to be at Cardiff."

To date, Tyson has just the one official wrestling match to his name, with that coming at Crown Jewel 2019 as he picked up the count out win over Braun Strowman.

Both Fury and McIntyre have made no secret of their wish to face each other at some point down the line, and this would certainly be a big-name match-up for the Scottish Warrior when WWE visits Cardiff's Principality Stadium on 3 September.
