The UFC's Jorge Masvidal made a surprise appearance on last night's AEW Rampage.

The Friday night delight saw The Inner Circle's Chris Jericho and Jake Hager taking on The Men of the Year (Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page) in a two-on-two encounter. Ultimately the heelish M.O.T.Y. came away with the win after some outside interference from the founder of American Top Team himself - Dan Lambert.

As was to be expected, Le Champion and his own MMA ally quickly set their sights on the slimy Lambert following their defeat, only for a wave of A.T.T. teammates to suddenly arrive and defend their leader in the middle of the squared-circle. The likes of Jorge Masvidal, Andrei Arlovski, and Paige VanZant all made their presence known in this moment, with the BMF in particular stealing the headlines after nailing the former AEW World Champion with his signature running knee strike to the face.

There's no word on whether or not we'll see any of these MMA fighters lock-up inside of an AEW ring any time soon. But should AEW pull off a partnership with the UFC, for example, you have to imagine seeing the BMF come to blows with Jericho would most definitely put asses on seats.
