Ultimate Warrior Raw Tribute Show: 8 Things We Expect To See

5. A Major Tribute Match

WWE has form for disregarding direction and running with a tribute show as a special event in itself. This in the past has meant us getting some really epic match-ups on the tribute cards, seeing Mysterio battle Michaels in 2007 was like a dream come true, apart from the bitter reality underlying it of course. Hopefully we get something equally big this year, a match fitting of top billing for an Ultimate Warrior show. The two men to put this match on would be Batista and John Cena. They are the men who most possess the Ultimate Warrior look and ring style in 2014, they're the men who could best put on a contest built around honouring the Warrior's style. You could argue that WWE would be foolish to book Batista vs Cena for free on TV, but every now and again you have to give Raw something major, just like they did with Cena vs Punk for free in 2013. In honour of the Ultimate Warrior, Raw deserves a blockbuster main event. Batista shaking the ring ropes in Warrior fashion before hitting the Warrior splash and press on Cena would be a goosebumps moment.
