United States Championship Match Set For Next Week's WWE Raw

Bobby Lashley puts the title on the line to entice a challenger and get revenge.

Bobby Lashley Seth Rollins

Bobby Lashley will once again tangle with Seth Rollins - or at least what's left of the Visionary - for the United States Championship on Raw next week.

Lashley successfully defended his title against Rollins two weeks ago on Raw with a little help from Matt Riddle, who balanced out Seth's cheating with a quick distraction. The outcome left Rollins furious and claiming that he was the uncrowned US champ.

Monday, things boiled over when Rollins blindsided Lashley after he defeated Mustafa Ali, laying him out with a pair of stomps, the second of which was on the US title belt. Afterward, Bobby was backstage being treated when he threw down the challenge for next week, which also happens to be Raw's "season premiere."

Their first match was quite good, so you've got to imagine the rematch, now with a personal grudge attached to it, will also rule.

Rollins, however, first has to survive a Fight Pit match against Riddle at Extreme Rules this weekend.
