Here's how the FTR man is doing after suffering a horrible gash at Fight for the Fallen.

Cash Wheeler suffered the kind of injury that belongs in a horror movie on this week's Fight for the Fallen special episode of AEW Dynamite, tearing his forearm open after being shoved from the top rope while he and FTR partner Dax Harwood were wrestling Santana & Ortiz.

Fortunately, it looks like Wheeler is going to be fine.

Dave Meltzer writes in this week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the grisly cut was stitched up backstage. The wound is described as looking like a "bad dog bite," but while Cash didn't break his arm, it was a "super scary" situation.

The report states that FTR, Santana, and Ortiz ended up having to shave a few minutes from the match following Cash's injury, with the bout's biggest moments unfortunately sacrificed. Harwood ended up scoring an abrupt pinfall via Brainbuster to end things while Wheeler was being tended to by medics.

PWInsider's Mike Johnson reported after the show that Wheeler was "OK" while being looked at backstage, despite how the wound looked on television. AEW aired a brief clip of Cash clutching his bleeding arm after the match came to an end.
